We are situated midway between Falaise in Calvados and Flers in Orne. 45 minutes drive from the start of the Normandy Landing beaches and the port of Ouistreham,Caen (making an ideal stopover either on your way to or from the ferry).

Our house was built in 1887 of local puddingstone and brick. The south facing garden is completely walled and stocked with many different varieties of flowers and shrubs,including our Yew tree which is over 100 years old!

Normandy is famous for its dairy produce and apple orchards, this is the home of Calvados apple brandy,Cider and Pommeau. The restaurants offer a host of local dishes, many cooked in butter and cream and, of course, Calvados. Lovers of Seafood will be delighted at the chance to dine out on Lobster,Crab,Langoustine,Mussels and Oysters. Although not a wine producing area a good selection of wines from all over France can be found in the restaurants and supermarkets.
